The Fun part of Fundraising - some ideas
for fundraising
If you like running …
Ian and Adam ran the Coventry Half Marathon
in 2010 (http://coventryhalf.com).
Barry ran the Two Castles 10k in 2011 (www.twocastlesrun.org.uk).
Other annual events include the Shakespeare
Marathon (www.shakespearemarathon.org.uk)
which will next be held on 29th April 2012.
Or maybe a challenge …
Ian and Darren rowed from the source of the
River Nene to the sea in 2010, covering 91 miles. Wes, Matt and
Nanu the dog walked the Warwickshire Canal Ring in 2011, covering
130 miles in one week. Fundraising can be a great opportunity to do
something that you have always wanted to do and raise money at the
same time. Other challenging ideas include climbing mountains, sky
diving, coast to coast walks … you decide.
Or a competition …
This could be anything from a football
match to a space hopper race.
Maybe something entertaining …
Like a quiz night, auction, race night,
coffee morning, dinner dance, garden party, fashion show, fancy
dress party, pamper party, Karaoke night, bingo night, treasure
hunt or a talent show.
Or a sale …
Cake sales, plant sales, car boot sales and
car washing are all good ways of raising money.
