WAPPENBURY WOOD 2 km W of Princethorpe. Entrance SP 381709. 73.5 ha (181 acres) Owned by the Trust. No access on Wednesdays and Saturdays, otherwise open. No dogs allowed. 

A large semi-natural ancient woodland which is rich in plants, butterflies and birds. Park by the bend on Burnthurst Lane and walk down the track and bridleway to reach the wood. Contact: Linda Hutton 01926 632535.  See also nearby Old Nun Wood
