Newbold Quarry
NEWBOLD QUARRY LNR. Newbold on Avon, Rugby. Entrance SP 497770. 10.5 ha (26 acres) Agreement with Rugby Borough Council. Open access. 

A large pool with a thriving population of native white clawed crayfish, along with calcareous spoil-heaps which support many lime loving plants and a wide range of butterflies. Contact: Richard Wright, 01788 337926.
