WILDLIFE
SITES SURVEYOR |
Could you identify sites of potential
wildlife value? This
excellent opportunity is for 2 experienced Phase 2 surveyors, for
10 -12 weeks. You will liaise with landowners, organise and
undertake ecological field surveys throughout Warwickshire, record
results and provide advice to landowners.
Based in
Warwick
, this is a partnership post between Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
and the Wildlife Sites partnership network including all local
authorities in the area. You will need good experience
(ideally 2 years +) in practical fieldwork skills and mapping
work, and abilities in using site criteria, partnership work, and
working with volunteers. We will pay you £16,000 – £17,500
(pro-rata) dependent on experience, plus expenses. Your own
transport is essential. Immediate start required, ideally by early
August.

ASSISTANT
RESERVES OFFICER |

Can
you involve volunteers in practical conservation and managing
nature reserves?
The Assistant Reserves Officer will implement habitat management
on over 20 Trust nature reserves and organise volunteer
involvement. You will
need experience in practical conservation management, involving
volunteers, implementation of health & safety on site and have
strong ecological knowledge.
We will pay you £16,500-£17,500dependent
on experience, + pension, travel expenses
This is a temporary position for up to 10 months, part of cover
for maternity leave.
