WATCH

Working Actively To Change Hillfields (WATCH) is a community-led organisation based in Hillfields, Coventry. The organisation benefits the people who live or work in Hillfields by securing, co-ordinating and managing resources for the social, economic and environmental improvement of the area.

The Hillfields Interaction Project team is based at WATCH and work closely with their community development team.

The Hillz Radio

The Hillz Radio (part of WATCH) is a community radio station based in Hillfields and provides young people with learning opportunities in the radio industry and encourages them to expand their knowledge and skills through performing music, presenting, newsreading and producing. Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and WATCH have a joint youth project on the research of the history of Primrose Hill Park in Hillfields, funded by HLF Young Roots.

Coventry City Council

We work in close partnership with Coventry City Council who own much of the greenspaces we work on. They have recently agreed to us taking on a 10 year lease of East Street Pocket Park and we work with them to manage this and other local greenspaces in Hillfields.

Hope Centre

The Hope Centre is a community centre and venue for local residents and organisations working in Hillfields. We use the centre for a number of community meetings. We also work in partnership with the Hope Centre Nursery to provide them with support for their project at Leigh Street Allotments.

Arts Exchange

Arts Exchange is a local community arts organisation. They are dedicated to urban regeneration and community development. Many of our projects involved Arts Exchange to conduct arts activities and workshops for local residents.

Asian Community Mental Health Team (ACMHT)

459 Foleshill Rd, Coventry, CV6 5AQ

ACMHT works with Asian people with mental health problems. Warwickshire Wildlife Trust carry out a horticultural therapy project at Leigh Street Allotments in partnership with ACMHT.
