Bernie Higgins, Reserves Biodiversity Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, “The few frosts we have had, as well as some foggy nights merging into murky days, are a sure sign that winter is only just around the corner. Perhaps you have a garden which is now snoozing until spring, but you would like to get out and continue the same sort of work? Our weekly winter workparties are a vital part of our programme of maintenance in our nature reserves, so why not bring along your gardening skills and give us a hand – we’ll be glad to see you.”
