JUNIOR TRUST MEMBERS FAMILY FUN DAY

On Saturday 6th October 2007, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is providing a fun line up of activities at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, Coventry . Activities have been especially selected for the entertainment of WATCH members, junior members of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Four entertaining workshops will run over two different sessions, the first from 10.00am - 12.00pm and second from 1.00pm - 3.00pm.

Families can take part in woodland den building, bug hunting, bird watching and pond dipping. There are also a variety of indoor crafts to design and decorate, such as creating giant models from recyclable materials and animal masks to take home.

Robert Stewart, Education Officer for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, said: “There is something for everyone at the Watch Family Fun-day. The day combines fun and learning for the whole family. Most importantly I hope the activities inspire and encourage the interest of the young members of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.”

Sessions for WATCH members cost just £1 per child. Places are still available for the morning and afternoon workshops. Activities will also be available to non-members subject to availability, at £2 per child per session. Booking is recommended as numbers are limited, to do so call 024 7630 2912.

The “Wild Events and Activities” guide gives a full and comprehensive listing of all public events run by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust throughout Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull . This includes a free volunteer fair and open day, featuring British animals, on Sunday 17th February 2008.
