CRACKLEY WOOD WORK PARTY

On Sunday 9th September 2007 Warwickshire Wildlife Trust invites you to join us at our weekend work party in Crackley Wood Local Nature Reserve, Kenilworth

At 10.00 am please join voluntary warden Jon Holmes for a practical woodland management session at Crackley Wood Local Nature Reserve, Kenilworth .  Please meet at the main entrance to the wood off Crackley Lane at Grid Reference SP289738.

All you need to bring is appropriate weatherproof clothing and strong footwear.

Bernie Higgins , Reserves Biodiversity Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, Summer is already merging into Autumn, which can be one of the best times of the year to be outside, especially in one of our lovely woodlands. Why not become more involved with your local nature reserve by joining in with one of the work parties? Not only will you learn more about your local wildlife but the work parties are a great way to meet like-minded people, as each reserve has a team of friendly, regular volunteers who always welcome new faces.”

The event is free and full training will be given.
