Bernie
Higgins, Reserves Biodiversity Officer for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust,
says, “With
global warming in the news a lot lately, its important for us to
understand more about the ecology and distributions of our native
butterflies and how they are affected by potential rises in temperatures.
This workshop is designed to help people increase their knowledge
of butterflies and help us record their distribution throughout
Warwickshire. With this
information we will hopefully be able to create a better picture of where
different species live and how under threat they are from pressures of
development and climate change”.
