SPRINGTIME WALKS
On Sunday 6th May 2007 Warwickshire Wildlife Trust invites you to two guided walks and one work party on nature reserves around the county.

  • At 7.30am on Sunday 6th May join warden David Morphew for an early morning bird walk around Ufton Fields Site of Special Scientific Interest.  In addition to improving your bird identification skills you will learn more about the role of volunteers with in Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.  Please meet in the car park off Ufton Fields Lane (SP 378615). 
  • At 9.30am on Sunday 6th May join the warden team at Brandon Marsh Site of Special Scientific Interest, near Coventry and assist in the management of this wetland nature reserve famed for its impressive variety of birds. Please meet at the car park at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, off Brandon Lane at grid reference at SP386761
  • At 2.30pm on Sunday 6th May join warden John Clarke at Temple Balsall nature reserve for an afternoon guided walk.  This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about wild garlic, whilst enjoying this varied wildlife reserve along side the Cuttle Brook.  Please meet near the entrance to Springfield House, off the B4101 to Knowle (SP 203760).

To assist in the management of our nature reserves, we ask for a donation of £2.00 per person for our guided walks. Joining our work parties is free of charge.

For all events all you need to bring is appropriate weatherproof clothing and strong footwear.
