Wildlife
Gardening Event – A wildlife-friendly plant sale!
Private gardens in the
UK
occupy more space than all national nature reserves put together!
So to help encourage the county’s gardener’s to make a
difference to our native wildlife, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is holding
a Wildlife Gardening Event. The
wildlife-friendly plant sale will be taking place on Sunday 6th
May 2007 from 10.00am to 4.00pm at the Brandon Marsh Nature Centre,
Brandon Lane
,
Coventry
.
At the event you can learn much more about wildlife-friendly gardening and
the species you will be helping. Quite simply by making a few minor
changes to your gardening routine, you’ll make a real difference to
nature conservation in this county. And also enjoy a wonderful variety of
beautiful flowers!
Plenty
of experts will be on hand to offer advice as well as a bedazzling array
of many wildlife friendly plants to purchase; ranging from pot-grown and
hardened-off native plants, wildlife-friendly wildflowers and flowering
plants and a great selection of perennials and hardy annuals.
