AND WARWICKSHIRE’S POWERFUL NEW SUPPORTER! Warwickshire
Wildlife Trust welcomes National Grid as its newest Gold corporate member!
The
Trust is one of the 47 partners that make up The Wildlife Trusts, one of
the Previously
National Grid has supported The Wildlife Trusts in a variety of ways, both
on a national and local level, but has now decided to channel support
directly into the areas where the company has a presence to improve the
environment for the local community and to provide an opportunity for
staff to become involved. The
partnership means that as well as supporting the charity’s work,
National Grid’s employees can provide hands-on help for nature
conservation. Staff will have the opportunity to leave the office for the
day and work on protecting and sustaining local nature reserves. Isobel
Hoseason, Director of Communications at National Grid said, “Through employee volunteering we have supported the work of the local
Wildlife Trust for a while so it is fantastic to cement our support
through corporate membership. We are pleased to be able to help the
environment for the local community and offer our staff a chance to become involved in the work of their local Wildlife Trust”. If
