Lee
Schofield, Assistant Reserves Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says,
“La
Nina is supposed to have stopped interfering with the jet stream, so all
those depressions from the
Atlantic
should have stopped bombarding us by now – but they clearly haven’t.
What with the deluges and the lowering skies, not to mention the credit
crunch, it would be so easy to become fed-up, so why not cheer yourself up
with a new, totally free activity? Our work parties happen whatever the
weather and they involve a huge range of different tasks tackled by
volunteers from an equally vast range of backgrounds and abilities, so why
not come and join in with one. You won’t regret it”.
