Caroline Bailey, Reserves Biodiversity Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, “Now that we are all becoming more concerned about just how much carbon dioxide is billowing into the atmosphere as a result of our love affair with using fossil fuels, the vital role of trees as carbon dioxide users is being acknowledged. But simply planting hundreds of trees is not the end of our responsibility – it’s just the beginning. Trees require as much care and attention as the most delicate of hothouse plants, and if you would like to find out how to nurture our trees, then come along to our introductory woodland management session in Crackley Wood. In the lifespan of a tree, your contribution may not be immediately obvious, but it will be of immense value in the years to come”.

For further information, please contact Caroline Bailey on 024 7630 8993.
