Eddie
Asbery, Reserves Woodland Project Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
says,
“Perhaps you have been following the fortunes of the nesting birds
and the Scottish Wild Cat on Springwatch? Well, now’s your chance to
have a more hands-on involvement with nature yourself. It’s not only the
telegenic animals and birds featured in Springwatch that depend on
well-managed habitats to survive and flourish; the needs of everything
from the ugliest beetle to the most insignificant-looking grass are vital,
and by helping with one of our work parties you will be making an
invaluable contribution to the health of our reserves. The bugs will love
you!”
