On Sunday 1 June at 10.00 am:

Join volunteer warden Dave Solliss at Hampton Wood, Barford to work in this beautiful ancient woodland and its associated water meadows alongside the River Avon.  Meet at the entrance [grid reference SP254600] on the Sherbourne to Hampton Lucy road.

These events are free and full training will be given.

For each event, all you need to bring is appropriate weatherproof clothing and strong footwear.

Ian Jelley, Reserves Volunteering Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, “Our Nature Reserves may not have the manicured appearance of a Britain in Bloom competitor, but they need just as much care and attention – which is where you come in. Why not try a different kind of landscaping and join in with one of our work parties? You’ll have a thoroughly good day as well as helping to make a real difference to your local nature reserve.”
