WILDFLOWER WALK AT UFTON FIELDS

Brian has a wealth of knowledge on plants and botany so it’s a great day both for beginners and people struggling with some of the more difficult species. It will also be a chance to see how well our efforts to help the man orchids and butterfly orchids are doing.

If you wish to, please bring a picnic lunch

COST:              £2.00 per person

WORK PARTY AT KENILWORTH COMMON
At 10.00am
Join volunteer wardens Howard and Serena Eccles at Kenilworth Common Local Nature Reserve, an area of wonderfully diverse woodland for a practical management session. Meet at the railway bridge on Common Lane , at grid reference SP299732.

This event is free

For each event, all you need to bring is appropriate weatherproof clothing and strong footwear.

Eddie Asbery, Reserves Woodland Project Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, “How many times have you looked at a wild flower, not known what it is – and fervently wished you did? This guided walk at Ufton Fields in the company of Brian Laney will be a golden opportunity for you to increase your knowledge of our native wild flowers. Not only will you have the company of an expert in this field, but you will have a grand day out. See you there.”
