Ian Jelley, Reserves
Volunteering Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, “May is one
of the loveliest times of year in our reserves. The new leaves and flowers
are appearing in their hundreds and look newly minted
as they positively glow in the sunshine. Why not take a break from the
hectic busy-ness of the week and experience the excitement of finding
fragile orchids in Draycote Meadows, or revel in seeing the jewel-bright
flash of blue as a kingfisher swoops across the River Arrow. You’ll find
that an afternoon spent on one of our guided walks will be a real tonic,
so come and join us.”
