WILD HALF TERM HAPPENINGS

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust are offering amazing outdoor activities this half term for children aged 4-11 at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve, Coventry . Workshops begin on Tuesday 27th May and run every day until Friday 30th May 2008.  Activities will range from pond dipping and bushcraft to land art.

Workshops run from 10.30am-12.00pm. All activities involve using the outdoor environment for learning and creative inspiration. For each activity there are a variety of topical crafts available for children to make and take home.

Robert Stewart , Education Officer for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, said: “May is a brilliant time of year for children to be outdoors, there is so much to discover with the nature reserve teaming with all kinds of creatures.”

Children’s workshops cost £4 per child and booking is essential to avoid disappointment as places can sometimes be limited.

The “Wild Events and Activities” guide gives a full and comprehensive listing of all public events run by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust throughout Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull, including May Bank Holiday Family Fun on the 24th and 25th of May at Brandon Marsh, Coventry.
