RIVER ARROW SPRING WORK PARTY

On Sunday 19th April 2008 Warwickshire Wildlife Trust invites you to join in with our work party in the River Arrow Local Nature Reserve.

At 10.00 am:

Join volunteer warden Steve Godfrey for a practical work party helping to manage the River Arrow Local Nature Reserve in Alcester.  Please meet in the car park of Ragley Mill Lane

(SP 088 580).

This event is free and full training will be given.

For each event, all you need to bring is appropriate weatherproof clothing and strong footwear.

Ian Jelley , Reserves Volunteering Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, “The River Arrow is a green lung in the middle of Alcester, so maintaining it is absolutely vital – which is where you come in.  In order for the reserve to be in tip-top condition for its plants and wildlife we need all the help we can get, so why not come and join our work party. Not only will the reserve benefit, but knowing that you’ve made a worthwhile contribution will give you a real glow of satisfaction at the end of the session.”
