Bernie Higgins , Reserves Biodiversity Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says, “With all the unseasonably warm weather we’ve been having this year, there will be no shortage of daffodils in bloom for St David’s Day on the first of March, but it isn’t only the daffodils which are out early, though. All our reserves are full of plants bursting into bud and new growth and have you noticed that it isn’t just the robins which are singing now – the rest of the birds are joining in and busy collecting nesting materials. Why not come and see the stirrings of Spring first hand by coming along to one of our work parties. New faces are always welcome, and can be sure of a warm welcome from seasoned campaigners.”
