Ian
Jelley, Reserves Volunteering Officer at Warwickshire Wildlife Trust says,
“With all the rain in January,’ February Fill-dyke’ looks like
living up to its name, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t run any
work parties. In fact, they are crucially important at this time of year
to make sure that our reserves are in as good a shape as possible for the
plants and wildlife stirring in readiness for Spring. So unearth those
wellies and waterproofs and join us. Don’t worry about getting wet; rain
water is marvellous for the skin!!”
