HELP
FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS
Do you have a local
patch of green space you would like to improve? Are you a small community
group that would like to take this on? If so, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
are here to help.
The Trust’s
experienced staff can help you to raise the funds to develop a local area
of green space into a flourishing community wildlife garden. Warwickshire
Wildlife Trust can help by keeping you up-to-date with what is available,
help you to complete the application and then support you in targeting
your local community to carry out the work once the funds have been
approved by the relevant organisation.
Experienced staff can
also provide help, assistance and advice about what can be done to attract
wildlife to your patch, what you can plant to attract the birds, bees and
butterflies and can assist volunteers to get the work started.
After
being awarded the Silver-Gilt award in the small town category of
Britain
in Bloom, Heather Sims from the Wellesbourne in Bloom Committee
said “Thank
you so much for all your help and support we couldn't have done it without
you”.
So
if you are a community group with a project in mind, please contact Claire
Cunniffe, Community Manager, on 02476 308985, claire.cunniffe@wkwt.org.uk
