Sunday 14 September
11am – 4pm
Brandon
Marsh Nature Centre,
Brandon Lane, Coventry.
This is the
first year we are running this event and we hope it will be a fantastic
day which we can build on year on year.
With 2008 being the Year of Food and Farming we have decided to
celebrate it in our own way and we hope that you will come along and enjoy
it with us. We will be hosting
our own mini farmers market where you will be able to sample and buy
locally farmed products from free range eggs, homemade pies and vegetables
to home grown meats, handmade sausages, fresh fruit and ice cream!
Why not come and sample locally brewed beer, ale and cider and have
a taste of some locally produced wine from vineyards in Warwickshire!
There will be lots going on with talks on wildlife friendly farming
practices, demonstrations, advice on growing your own vegetables (even in
a pot on your windowsill!), tom bola, guided walks and lots of fun for the
children!
Entrance: Non members £2, Members £1
children under 12 years free. (Membership
cards must be shown to receive discounted entry.
Entry free includes access to the nature reserve.
Strictly no dogs except guide dogs) FREE
PARKING.
